The science of sound – Bowers and Wilkins uses computer modelling to explore every aspect of loudspeaker design in their state of the art 800 Series Diamond range.
Every stereo model in the 800 Series Diamond range has a significantly upgraded cabinet with an all-new aluminium top plate. The cabinets are made from a continuous curved section of wood, which resists mechanical resonances far better, and ensures better dispertion of sound.
Aluminium plinth – the 804 D4 uses a downward firing Flowport, exiting onto a solid aluminium plinth complete with a steel constrained layer damping sheet, which controls unwanted resonance.
Available in gloss black, white, satin rosenut or satin walnut. Grille finishes – black, grey, black, grey.
